The rotary switch for TF1 and TF2 has replaced the old “bone fuse” or “short-circuit plug”, which was used to switch older devices on and off. The new rotary switch has three stages and offers a secure grip, thus minimizing the risk of losing it.
Position 1: ON – makes the tug ready for operation
Position 2: OFF – switches the tug off
Position 3: UNLOCK – unlocks the rotary switch so that it can be removed
